Ludo proves to be a masterpiece coming from Anurag Basu, famous for creating offbeat content.At the beginning of (and during) every month, Netflix adds new movies and TV shows to its library. All these players unknowingly cross each other’s paths, creating an out-of-the-box comedy story. Pankaj Tripathi as Sattu bhaiya (the dice in the game), Abhishek Bachchan as Bittu (red player), Aditya Kapur and Sanya Malhotra as Akash and Shruti (yellow player), Rohit Suresh Saraf and Pearle Maaney as Sheeja and Rahul (blue player), and Rajkumar Rao and Fatima Shaikh as Aalu and Pinky (green player). Ludo casts fabulous actors, each having a critical role in the whole story.

Rahman has scored the movie, so you know the music is going to be great. As they are filming the documentary, they learn about the sacrifices that were made to make this country and the responsibilities that have been placed on us to move this country forward. The story revolves around six young Indians who assist an English Woman in filming a documentary on freedom fighters. Talking about the plot, it’s a story of Indian Youth and how they reconnect with their past. You never feel out of place, and every sequence fits perfectly. The way this movie cuts between its two main timelines is exquisite.
Not only does the movie have a good story and excellent acting, but it’s also a masterpiece of the craft of movie-making itself. Rang de Basanti is probably my favorite Bollywood movie of all time.
